The Biodiesel Diaries is Majo Calderon’s latest project. She partnered up with Carlos Herrera, the Co-Founder of Education Without Borders International to start a six month-long journey through Latin America (from Oakland, California to Chile) in a biodiesel car.
Along the way, they will document the efforts of grassroots organizations and communities to live in a more sustainable way.
With the written word, photography and especially video, they will collect their stories, work and dreams to later share them with the international community through their website.
The project seeks to create a mechanism through which these groups can meet and connect.
